Kaitlin lead us through our review. She was a little more precise with the topics that she highlighted likely due to the fact that I specifically requested that she open her textbook prior to conducting the review.
I asked Kaitlin a series of questions (all in Spanish) dealing with the content of the chapter. It did take her some time to figure out what she was being asked but was eventually able to answer appropriately.
Kaitlin then wanted to discuss some music that she has been listening to in Spanish. This was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the contact that she is having with the language outside of the classroom.
I was not directly familiar with the artists or songs that she was referencing, but we were still able to discuss themes of the music.
Kaitlin answered a series of questions requiring her to use the vocabulary from this section of the chapter.
Kaitlin and I looked at some stem changing verbs and discussed their meaning.
