This morning, we had a quick review of the terms associated with addition and created a couple of addition stories. Then, the concept of subtraction was introduced. We discussed the terms related to and Libby made a minus sign for her wall. Finally, we used manipulatives to model examples of the concept of taking away to find what is left.
