This morning, Libby and I walked around the school looking for signs to help her understand that signs give directions on what to do. Then, we related our sign walk to the plus and minus signs and how they also direct us on what to do with numbers. Finally, we used an addition and subtraction mat to create and solve equations while recognizing the operation signs.
