8-8 Solve Problems Involving Surface Area – We found the surface area of two-dimensional composite shapes. Then we found the surface area of three-dimensional composite shapes. We discovered that the surface area of a composite figure is the sum of the areas of its surfaces. The surface area of a three-dimensional figure is the combined surface area of all the faces of the figure.
