Today, Alexandra worked on a number sense activity. She was given a number line numbered 0 through 100 that had been cut into pieces. Alexandra found the piece that began with 0, counted the numbers on that piece, and determined which number came next. Then, she looked for the next group of numbers, which continued until all pieces were in order. Finally, Alexandra and I taped them together to create a long number line and used it to count to 100.
