Lesson Outline
Libby and I continued to work on the ways to make 10. She wrote part-part whole models to show the different ways to make 10 and used small counting cubes to model each part. Then, the cubes were pushed together and placed on the whole to show a total of 10. Next, we used the same models to solve subtraction problems starting with 10. Libby created stories and took a part from 10 to find the other part.
