In preparation for tomorrow's final test on the novel ,today we continued to work on a practice essay that we began last week. Based on David's draft, we first corrected tense consistency. Next, we addressed topic sentence revision and discussed how to incorporate additional textual evidence. As we revised ,I provided instruction on how and when to incorporate transition phrases such as : likewise, similarly and as a result, Additionally, we addressed proper placement of commas. During the remaining time, we focused on study skills and reviewed how to use our class notes and the study guide to prepare for the test.
