Colson came in energized after a weekend spent on a boat and jumped right into coloring his Mario-themed digital drawing. I reminded him to keep his coloring on a separate layer, which he did successfully. He experimented with scale and opacity and ultimately decided to use Mario’s traditional outfit. This was Colson’s last art class of the school year. He finished his Mario-inspired portrait.
