This morning, we continued to work on representing numbers in different ways. Remington used base ten blocks to show 2-digit numbers as tens and ones with amounts more than 10. Then, he exchanged groups of 10 ones for tens sticks and wrote the 2-digit numbers in expanded form. Finally, Remington was given a 5-minute timed basic facts page on adding one. He verbally gave the answers but was resistant to writing the answers and did not complete the assignment.
