online exercise to teach the student the mechanics of flight: Propulsion, launch angles and ramp height, gliders and small rocket propulsion etc.
Lesson Outline
The "Learning to Fly" exercise is a visual graphic display of flight success (or failure) using several key variables:
Acceleration, propulsion fuel quantities, ramp length and height, air resistance and glider/small rocket assist. The time duration and height of the flight earns $$$ rewards which can then be spent on various flight enhancing resources.
