Today, Remington completed a fast facts check on adding 2 before we continued to work on using strategies with addition facts. We quickly reviewed the doubles facts, doubles plus one, adding zero, and counting on by 1, 2, or 3. Remington also practiced using his number line as a tool to help him find the sums of problems. Finally, he finished with a lesson check and spiral review questions.
