6-2 Proportions – We learned how to solve proportions and use them to solve problems. We know that a mathematical sentence that states that 2 ratios are equal is a proportion. Then we learned that 2 ratios form a proportion if their cross products are equal. Next, we learned that proportions can be true, false, or open.
