During today's lesson on Child Labor during the British and U.S. Industrial Revolution, Kaitlin became very aware of the horrible abuses and exploitation of Child Labor which occured over a long period of time. we discussed how these labor abuses , primarily in Northeast U.S. factories, led to new Federal Laws restricting child labor and addressing workplace safety.
