Lesson 1 Slow Changes to Earth’s Landscape – We discovered the presence and location of fossils which indicate the order in which rock layers were formed. We looked at examples of sedimentary rock. We learned that weathering can be caused by blowing sand and moving water. Erosion is the movement of weathered material being carried away in pieces.
