Patrick did a great job today in typing. He has almost completed Level 3. Today he was working on using the keyboard to type all homerow keys, e, i, r, and u. I am astonished at how far he has come already. Patrick continues to work on his Fast ForWord program. Today he worked in a game called Space Commander where he practices following specific directions. In Hoop Nut, he practices listening to different sounds which will help improve attention. He also played a learning game called Ele-bot, which focuses on listening and grammar skills. Patrick did fantastic in Lindamood-Bell today. He was successful in providing lots of details in order to create a picture in my mind. He described a boy biking up a ramp and demonstrated his new knowledge by using all of his structure words. Patrick is a joy to teach and I know I am lucky to be able to work with him each day!
