Today Patrick continued his program in FF. He worked on three different programs-Whalien Match, Ele-bot, and Hoop Nut. This softward helps to improve listening accuracy and word recognition skills. Ele-bot specifically works on building language comprehension skills, as Patrick tries to determine which illustration correctly match the spoken sentence. In keyboarding Patrick, made it to the next level where he learned the location of keys w and o. He is now at Level 2, Stage 5, and doing beautifully! In V/V (Lindamood-Bell), Patrick and I reversed roles in a picture to picture activity. He asked essential questions in order for him to be able to create a similar image in his mind to the picture I had in front of me. This provided an excellent opportunity for him to see the importance of verbalizing all details (structure cards). He posed good choice/contrast questions to elicit additional details. Way to go!
