Today Patrick and I played Take a Card. He is demonstrating a clear understanding of the addition math strategies we have worked on in our sessions. We will now move to adding with mental math with speed and fluency. I will begin by giving Patrick daily speed sessions. Tomorrow I will test Patrick on 10 basic addition problems through 10 in 30 seconds. He seems confident and excited.
