Gwendolyn began her session learning how to play Crazy 8's. She quickly picked up the game, employed some strategy of her own and had an amazing time playing. Gwendolyn had such a great time that she laughed non-stop and wanted to play the game four consecutive times. After playing Crazy 8's, we played a reading comprehension game called Predicting Outcomes: Western Frontier. Players of the game take to the trails and must be ready to predict what might happen by reading passages and making predictions. Gwendolyn did a fantastic time reading the comprehension passages, applying her background knowledge to different situations, searching for context clues and predicting the correct outcomes.
