Today's lesson addressed the classes of society in ancient Rome: patricians, plebeians, and slaves. The widening gulf between rich and poor, and the acquisition of slaves via military conquest, were among the issues raised. Hunter took notes after each video and participated in discussion. We also discussed the fact that, because tomorrow is a school holiday, the next test will be administered on Monday, 4/21.
