Both Anna and Quinn did incredibly well during this session. Quinn was starting to get the hang of the chord changes and rhythm of the Happy Birthday song. He asked to try one of the hardest first position chords, F Major, and he was actually able to get a sound out of it. This shows me that his hand strength has improved as has his fretting technique. Anna played My Bonnie, which is one of the more difficult songs in her book, very well the first time with very few mistakes. Her sight reading has really improved a lot over the past few weeks.
