Prior to administering the Chapter 4 quiz, I gave Will an opportunity to ask questions about the material. He took advantage of this opportunity, especially as he said he had forgotten to take his book home last night. He asked a number of questions, which I answered in detail. When Will said he was ready, I administered the Chapter 4 quiz. Following conclusion of the quiz, we began discussion of Chapter 5, focusing on the initial disagreements among colonists as to the goal of the military conflict against Britain in 1775, and the dissipation of those disagreements into a more unified position in favor of independence by 1776.
