Today we resumed and completed consideration of Chapter 8. Topics included multiple Supreme Court decisions under Chief Justice John Marshall that established the importance and supremacy of federal (central government) powers over state powers, the Monroe Doctrine of 1823, the Corrpupt Bargain of 1824, and the vindication of Andrew Jackson over John Qunicy Adams in the election of 1828. I reminded Will to prepare for tomorrow's quiz.
