At the outset of today's session, I gave Will an opportunity to ask any questions he had concerning the material in Chapter 8. He asked a number of questions, which I answered. When Will said he was ready to proceed, I administered the Chapter 8 quiz. Following the quiz, I listed six topics that Will should review as he studies for the midterm exam next week. The exam essay questions will pertain to most, though not all, of the review topics. I made sure that Will wrote down the review topics so that he would not forget them. He appeared to appreciate this approach. The exam was to have taken place on Tues., 8/12, but has been postponed to Wed., 8/13, because Will was absent on Tues., 8/5, thereby setting the schedule back by one day (a minor delay).
