At the start of today's session I returned Will's graded Chapter 8 quiz (27/30) and went over it with him. Thereafter we reviewed for the midterm exam, scheduled for tomorrow. Last Thursday I gave WIll multiple topics to study, from which the exam questions would be drawn. Unfortunately, he did not take advantage of the opportunity this provided. Therefore, we reviewed all the study topics in class, discussing how each might be addressed in essay format. Additionally, at my suggestion, Will went through the textbook's table of contents, jotting down specific pages numbers corresponding to specific review topics, for study purposes. Finally, I gave Will the choice of proceeding with the exam tomorrow or putting it off until Thursday, 8/14. He elected to proceed with the exam tomorrow and vowed to study for it tonight.
