Lesson Outline
Analise and I began our session by practicing how to write the letter G (upper case and lower case). Then, we read Clifford Growing Up. Afterward, we practiced writing on the dry-erase board. Analise wrote her name, my name, Morgan's name, and the letter G! We also used the computer keyboard to type the letters. Analise likes to play on the computer! We used a big sheet of colored paper to make a poster for the letter G. On the right side, we glued the page that she was writing on at the beginning on the session. On the left, we glued a picture of a girl that she colored. As a finishing touch, she wrote the letter G in upper and lower case on the top of the poster. It is a work of art! We took a short break after that and let out some energy in the dojo (playing with hula hoops, a parachute, and pilates ball. When we returned, we finished the day with a short clip on Leap Frog about the sounds that letters make.
