Today, Cal and I finished our discussion of radical expressions and laws regarding factoring numbers out of radical expressions such as square roots and cubic roots. We worked through simplifying and solving a number of problems containing radical expressions. Then, we moved on to understanding some of the fundamental concepts of Discrete mathematics. We began by focusing on the idea of a number set and the symbols and meanings of a union and intersections of multiple number sets. Cal and I began working through a few problems to identify unions and intersections.
