Ethan and I carried out a lesson about some basic principles of economics. We read several paragraphs and discussed the idea of a market used to buy and sell goods. We talked about how supply and demand impact the price of good service, and how people and banks use credit to take in or issue money. We talked briefly about where our consumer goods come from and why trade with other countries is important. Finally, I had Ethan help solve a crossword puzzle which used vocabulary from the reading.
