The Dolphin Project - the social system
Marina and I discussed how dolphins live in populations distributed all over the world oceans. Within each population, dolphin families live in neighborhoods, much like our own. Each dolphin has a strong a attachment with their family members, and with certain friends they make as they grow up. Young dolphins make friends in school and these friendships last a lifetime. We talked about how it seems that dolphins and people have a lot in common.
