Hunter reviewed the ct spelling of words ending in the /kt/ sound. He read selected word cards fluently. For the oral part of the post test Hunter read 15/15 real words and 14/15 nonsense words correctly. Prior to the written portion of the post test, the instructor reminded Hunter of the importance of spelling words one syllable at a time, writing legibly and repeating the words after they are dictated. Hunter spelled 12/15 real words and 5/5 nonsense words correctly. The instructor discussed the misspelled words and Hunter corrected them. The vowel-consonant-e syllable was briefly introduced.
