Judie, I read the email from Mrs. Wicknertz regarding math instruction. I can only challenge as much as the student is willing to work and get involved in the lesson. I can only plan so much. If Mom is unhappy with the instruction Samantha is receiving then you probably need to find another instructor. I have never had a student have so many excuses for fooling around and not cutting the mustard! (I have a headache, my brain is tired, I am stressed, let's talk about Newsies, I need a snack, I need a drink , my stomach hurts, I forgot my lunch box, I need this or that or let's hide behind the scarf -- can you see me? -- these are typical every day!)
