We started a new unit today on the Presidency, the election and voting. We read two short books and looked at illustrations, started a vocabulary page, and put together an Election Book, which we will use next week. We also watched a short BrainPop video on How to Become President. Jackson learned about the duties of the President, qualifications, the perks and responsibilities, campaigning, and voting.
