Gracyn and I focused on the word "said" today. I also introduced her to next week's spelling words. We talked about what a spelling word is and what will be expected of her. To start we will just have 5 words. The following weeks she will have 10-15. In writing we wrote about "What Do you Love?" We first did a word cluster about all of the things that Gracyn loves. This included chocolate, her family, horses, snow, and steak! Then we filled out the worksheet. We colored it and printed out a picture of Gracyn. We placed them in an envelope to give to her parents for Valentines Day. We then finished the day filling out and coloring Valentines for friends and teachers at school.
