To continue with our weather lesson that we began on Friday, we talked about seasons. Together we read Seasons - Rainy, Sunny, Blowy, Snowy by Jane Brocket. We learned the colors, the temperatures, the plants growing habits, the way the air feels, and the length of the days associated with each season. Analise said her favorite season was fall because that is the season of her birthday. She also told me she likes eating ice cream and picking strawberries in the summer. To go with our seasons talk we made "magic snow". This is made by Mad Lab and it is small granules we added water to. After 10 minutes it expands and is then ready to play with. She made a snowman, sprinkled it like snow and dumped it like a blizzard. Analise loved it!!
