Today, in math, Analise and I worked on measurement. We discussed how objects sometimes do not weigh as much as they appear and how sometimes large objects weigh less than smaller objects and vice versa. To test this concept, Analise found different objects around her room and placed them on a scale to see which weighed more or less. She also added or took away objects to make the scale balance. Analise enjoyed this activity and had a very good understanding of this concept. We also worked on a few worksheets that involved finding the longest or tallest and shortest objects.
