Lesson Topic
More "To Kill a Mockingbird."
Lesson Outline
We discussed "To Kill a Mockingbird" and our progress with the story before spring break. I told Will that I had finished re-reading the novel over spring break and that I felt we should continue to complete the novel in class, due to the richness of Harper Lee's descriptions of life in rural Alabama in the 1930's. Will seemed to agree that completing the novel in class would be worthwhile.

Today's "swap reading" went well. Will asked several excellent questions. We'll continue reading the novel in class as well as occasional writing exercises and work in the Cursive Handwriting work book.
