We completed the homework assignment including the tax effects of an acquisition by calculating the companies tax liability and earnings after taxes, the tax liabilities before and after the acquisition, and evaluating whether or not the acquisition results in a net positive gain and calculating the ratios of exchange and Earnings Per Share (EPS) for a stock swap acquisition given different ratios of exchange.
