Josh didn't have any math homework so we focused on reading improvement. We continued the reading comprehension baseline by doing two more reading passages. There were 11 questions of which he got 4 correct for a score of 36.4%. Combined with the score from last time, his overall score was 62%. We logged into Reading Performance System (RPS) and did the Numbers Exercise (NE, peripheral vision and visual span), the Word Search Exercise (WSE, peripheral vision, visual span, letter and word recognition, and random eye movement), and the Column Exercise (CE, eye coordination and stamina). He did reasonably well on the NE and WSE with much room for improvement. Halfway through the CE, he stopped and complained that his eyes were hurting and it was giving him a headache. Bingo! I discussed this with his mother who said they will work using RPS at home for at least 15-20 minutes per day.
