Loulie did a lesson on plants today. She put together a giant puzzle of parts of a plant including the roots, stem, leaves, and flower and we discussed how the plant used each part. We read a book on the parts of a plant. We got a rubber glove and planted one seed in each finger with a cotton ball. She soaked the cotton balls in water and put a seed inside each one. We labeled the fingers with the type of seed she put in and put the cotton ball in the finger and discussed how the seed germinates. We hung her poster and the glove up on the wall.
