Loulie continued the lesson on plants today. She cut out a picture of pieces of a plant and glued them together on a piece on construction paper. We colored the plant and labeled each part (roots, stem, leaves, flower). We also discussed what a plant needs to grow (soil, water, sun, air, space). We took down the glove with the seeds she planted in cotton balls last week and observed their growth. We got some dirt and she planted each seed in a cup and set the cups in the window to see if they will grow.
