We read aloud p.117-123 from The Barefoot Mailman. Ethan tried to label a blank map of the United States. Overall, he was able to identify the locations of over 30 of 50 states. We will continue to read, as well as, work on map skills.

I split the session in half because Ethan was either tired or his attention span was waning. We shared reading a loud. Then, I had him try to identify and label the 50 states of the USA. The map skills assignment seemed to grab his attention.
