The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized computer that plugs into the TV or monitor and a keyboard and/or mouse. It is a capable little computer which can be used in electronics projects, and for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word processing, browsing the internet, and playing games.
It supports different Operating Systems and its low power consumption makes it ideal for portability. The proposed model includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Initially it will be used to show small simple projects that students will be able to execute and it will also help for next stages in the course when applying programming skills.
