Gracyn took the end of unit test today on plant and animal needs and scored an 83%. She also began a new unit on oceans today. We read about the octopus and she learned facts such as the octopus has no bones, changes colors, eats shrimp, fish, and crabs, and shoots out black ink when it's threatened by a predator. She learned three new vocabulary words relating to the octopus (shallow, suction, and black ink) and answered comprehension questions about the facts she learned. She also watched a short video on the life of an octopus.
