Today, Gracyn continued breaking apart a single-digit and using the number line to subtract from a double-digit. She solved many correlating problems and grasped the concept. Before moving to the next lesson, we practiced subtracting 10 from any given number. I typed in two and three digit numbers and Gracyn typed in the number minus 10. This practice prepared her for the next lesson that we began today, subtracting a double-digit from another double-digit. Gracyn broke apart the number and first subtracted the tens before subtracting the remaining ones.
