Ben and I looked at a real tree cookie today that I brought from home. It was a slice of cypress. Ben counted the rings to determine the age of the tree and we looked at defects in the tree that might be evidence of drought, disease, etc. We began the Social Science section of the Stanford Achievement Test. Ben finished and we also finished the Listening section of the test.
