Will and I discussed the topic of scene blocking and how directors use the technique to help tell the story, create a mood, and give the audience a specific point of view. We watched two videos on blocking: an instructional video that explained blocking and demonstrated how it worked in filming a scene and a video that broke down the blocking for a scene in Vertigo.
