Today, Natalie and I spent some time getting to know each other. Next, we discussed the white nationalist rally and violence in Charlottesville, VA this weekend. We created a list of abstract questions that were prompted from reading an article about the violence and fighting. Natalie and I researched and discussed the answers to those questions, such as: should hate speech be protected under our first amendment.
