Lesson Topic
Writing Equations of Lines
Lesson Outline
Today we looked at points and equations of lines. I asked Hunter to write equations of lines that went through a given point, and were either parallel or perpendicular to another line whose equation was given. He had to figure the slope of the line, then write an equation given the slope and the point. Hunter also graphed lines given equations in slope-intercept form, or standard form. If it's in standard form, he had to get it in slope-intercept form. He understood how to do this.
