Henry continued learning about natural disasters that occur in Florida. We discussed how Florida sits on limestone and how limestone is a natural filter and keeps the water very clean and pure but
how sometimes the limestone can erode and cause a sinkhole. We researched and looked at pictures of different sinkholes that have occurred in Florida. We also continued reading "The American Jungle" by Harvey Oyer. Henry really seems to be enjoying the book and what it was like to grow up in Florida in the late 1800's.
