This morning we had a very productive discussion where we finalized the selection of our stocks for our stock portfolio. We discussed diversification and having stocks from companies representing different industries. We selected Amazon, Ford Motor Company, Tesla, Intrexon and Aquabounty. We examined Aquabounty in greater detail and discovered that this company has revolutionized genetically modified salmon and has recently won approval to begin harvesting salmon in Canada. We discussed the implications of this development and looked at the per share stock price and whether or not it was a good buy at this current time. Homework: Hunter will identify those expenses that he will incur when he lives independently. We will use this information to construct an income statement and prepare a monthly budget.
