We can add and subtract matrices that are the same size. We do this simply by adding the elements that are in the same location. Hunter worked problems that involved adding and subtracting matrices. I also taught him how to solve equations with matrices to find the unknown matrix. He caught onto the concept fairly easily. His homework assignment is p. 178 (2-17)
